Our Jr High Academic team took 2nd place in the SWCL tournament today, and Shia Fields won 2nd place individually among all other students in the conference over the course of the season! It was a close final match, but Kirbyville took 1st. Way to work hard and compete this season!
Our Lady Pirates played hard but fell short. We will play in the 3rd place game on Saturday at 3:00.
We are down by 7 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Battle ladies!

Our January Teacher of the Month has been described as a teacher who goes above and beyond for her students. She exudes positive energy. Her instruction, lessons, and activities engage students and have increased their scores on assessments. She has a wealth of knowledge from which students and staff have much to learn! With careful consideration, I have made the decision that Crane R-III WILL be in session Wednesday, January 17. Please make sure your kiddos bundle up, especially if they have to wait for the bus. I have heard of quite a few families who have frozen and/or busted pipes. If this applies to your household, we wanted to let you know that your child is more than welcome to take a hot shower at school at some point during the day on Wednesday. Please have them pack a change of clothes and a towel. We have shampoo and body wash available for any student who may need it. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
