The Crane High School Academic Team walked away winning three of the four matches this evening at their first Academic Team Meet. They won against Billings, Purdy, and Blue Eye, but lost to Galena. Way to go, Pirates!
This afternoon Mrs. Breanna Scott was awarded with $2,500 from the Tanger Kids Grant program. This grant will help purchase inclusive components for our playground for our students with special needs. Some items on the "wish list" include a drawing station with chalkboard, a music wall, and an investigation station where students can dig and explore. We hope to be able to add some district funds and any other donations we receive to making other areas of the existing playground accessible for all students. Thank you Mrs. Scott!

A shout out to our Crane R-III Bus Drivers and Transportation Director…our bus drivers did an amazing job navigating the road conditions with fog this morning! A few buses encountered some slick spots but thanks to the drivers’ expertise and the quick response time of our team, our students arrived safely to school. We are blessed with the best!
Due to some roads still being icy in the Reeds Spring area, there will be no Gibson Tech today, Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. There is no VoTech today. VoTech students need to be at school by 11:40 a.m.

Our Jr High Academic team took 2nd place in the SWCL tournament today, and Shia Fields won 2nd place individually among all other students in the conference over the course of the season! It was a close final match, but Kirbyville took 1st. Way to work hard and compete this season!
Our Lady Pirates played hard but fell short. We will play in the 3rd place game on Saturday at 3:00.
