The junior class wants to thank all members of the Crane Community who helped out with Homecoming night concessions and McAlister tea sales. Take a look, and if you know any of these lifesavers, give them a hug or a high five. Doug Minton (Table Rock Community Bank) and Jessica Hilton (Simmons Bank) led these crews that helped our stands get fed. Additionally, but not shown, "Nan" Murray came and helped sell tea. Tea sales directly support our Prom. Thank you all! Our village is a great village!

On Friday 2/16, CHS sent a crew of history champs to the Marion C. Early Quiz bowl. Dr. East and Mr. Brown witnessed some awesome history knowledge from schools around the region, the kids stuffed their faces with some great food (truely fantastic catering), and we all enjoyed some great competition. We are fired up to go back next year!

PROM 2024 REMINDER! Tell Dr. East if you are coming to Prom and pay attendance fees. Guest forms need to be submitted for all non-Crane Attendees! Juniors pay class dues of $50 for prom attendance. Seniors who paid fees last year are not required to pay this year. Fees or all non-dues paying dates are $20 (Freshmen, Sophomores, or non-Crane student dates). Your deadline is 2/21. This is next Wednesday! Dr. East will be absent Friday (2/16), but she can take money early next week until the deadline!

Congratulations to our February Teacher of the Month, Beth Funcannon. If you have walked our halls, you have seen the amazing things she does with our students! Any student she has ever had knows that she challenges and empowers her students as they grow through her program. Hands down, she is one of the best art teachers any school could ever hope to be blessed with!
