The High School baseball games that were scheduled at our home field for today have been moved to Purdy. They will be played at 5:00 and 7:00 pm!

Due to the timing of the forecasted severe weather, Crane R-III will be dismissing students at 1:30PM today. All after school activities, including Boys & Girls Club have been canceled. We are also canceling the Internet Safety Class that was being held tonight.
If your child's dismissal plans will change as a result of this early dismissal, please contact the school office by 12:45 PM.

Tomorrow, March 14th, the yearbook sponsor, Ms. Knight, is taking a day to photograph several of our organizations and any students who may have missed previous picture days this year. The following groups need to bring their club t-shirts: JH & HS JAG, FBLA, StuCo, Archery, and FFA. FFA Officers need to bring official dress. JH & HS Choir, Beginning Band, and 7th Grade Band should be dressed nicely.
Thank you for helping to make sure your students bring their club shirts and are appropriately dressed for group picture day!

The Cox Mobile Unit will be at the school for sports physicals and immunizations on Friday, April 5th. There are consent forms in the high school office for those wanting to take advantage of this convenient opportunity!

Our Jr High A team volleyball girls fought hard and won in 3 sets tonight against Spokane. The B team played a great game, but came up short. Way to go, Lady Pirates!
The boys baseball and girls softball jamboree's have been canceled for today and both moved to Monday, 3/11/24. The boys play at Miller with two 4 inning games at 6:00 and 7:15. The girls travel to Southwest and will play two 4 inning games at 5:30 and 6:15.

Our Jr High A team volleyball girls fought hard and won in 3 sets tonight against Sparta. The B team played a great game, and won as well! The C team is really growing and improving, but fell short tonight. Good things are happening! Keep improving, girls!

Our High School Academic Team competed in the SWCL Academic Meet Tournament. Their first round was close, losing by just one question. However, they won their next round, placing 5th overall. Waylon Mease placed 7th and Roland Baker placed 4th in the tournament for average toss up questions per game!

There will be no Gibson Tech classes next week, March 12th through the 15th. Reeds Spring Schools will be on Spring Break. VoTech students will need to arrive at school by 11:40 on those days.

Our Jr High and High School Students of the Month for February are 8th grader, Shia Fields and Sophomore, Tailor Cleveland. About Shia, his teachers shared: Shia always goes above and beyond what is asked of him. He always has a positive attitude and is eager to help other students when they are struggling. Shia excels in everything he does. He is easy-going and friendly to his peers, a natural leader. He also has great integrity and is willingly to be wrong. His love of learning and improving himself drives him to success in the classroom and in life. About Tailor, her teachers shared: Tailor is a very dedicated and motivated student. She always does her best and is patient and considerate when others ask for help. I frequently find her tutoring others on work and can definitely rely on her to get anything done. Great job Shia and Tay! You are awesome!
