Greetings! The 2024 Graduation video is edited and available for you to view. This was my first time doing videography and video editing for an event of this importance, but I certainly learned a lot in the process. Hopefully, if I do this again, I will be able to make the next one even better! Copy the link below into your browser to access the video, and congratulations again to our 2024 Graduates! Sincerely, Ms. Alyssa Knight https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KA56LpSEQ9sjLy_f8ji9XrO8qvAxnwE6/view?usp=sharing

Crane R-III is hoping to receive a grant to offer one section of full-day three-year-old preschool for the 2024-2025 school year. We will not know if we receive the funding until July, but we would like to have an idea of how many residents would send their three-year-olds on a daily basis. Eligible students would have to turn three by August 1, 2024. The Elementary office will begin contacting families in August letting them know if their child will have a spot on the roster. If you are interested in your three-year-old child attending full-day preschool at Crane Elementary, please complete the Google Form at https://forms.gle/1WuJ4E2Y3BSHHiXw7

Congratulations Class of 2024! While the yearbook staff is processing photos and videos from graduation, we wanted to provide a preview for all our expectant families. Seniors and senior families, don't forget to order a yearbook before June 28th in order to access all the high-resolution photos we took at graduation. If you have any questions or concerns about yearbook ordering, please email the yearbook advisor, Ms. Knight (Knighta@crane.k12.mo.us). QR codes to access formal graduation pictures will be provided when seniors pick up their diplomas, but keep an eye out for a graduation video later this week. We don't have the means to print photos, but our digital files through Google Drive are easy to download for any size printing! Thank you seniors and senior families; it was a privilege and an honor to capture this day for you.

Tomorrow, Friday, May 10th, is our assemblies day for the Jr High and High School. We will start off the day with our awards assembly at 8:00 am followed by our Seniors' traditional "Decision Day" at approximately 10:00 to 10:30. Decision Day is an opportunity for our seniors to be recognized for what they will be doing after graduation, be it college, trade school, or joining the workforce. It is a great opportunity for our underclassmen to see the various options they have to consider! Parents are welcome to attend!

Our Jr High and High School students of the month for April are Junior, Landyn Dickens, and 8th grader Addyson Custer! About Landyn, his teachers shared: This student has turned his educational journey around and now consistently strives hard for excellence in his toughest class. He also, especially back when we were working to pass the US Constitution test, is beneficially influential with his peers. He helped encourage quite a few to study and do their best on this difficult exam as well. He has shown a lot of personal and intellectual growth since his Freshman year. This growth includes working after school two days a week with Mr. Wecker to improve his Algebra skills so he can challenge himself with tougher classes next year. About Addyson, her teachers shared: 1) She is always cheerful and has a good attitude. She patiently helps her fellow students when she understands a concept that they do not. She's a great student! 2) Addyson is very kind, ambitious, and helpful. She often joins in class discussion and asks questions. She is always respectful to faculty and her peers. She is a wonderful student to have! Thank you for being so great, Landyn and Addyson!
