JH Baseball/Softball/JH Track all have been canceled today. JH track meet at Clever has been rescheduled for Friday.

We have received a few phone calls about school days for next week. As usual, we do NOT have school on Monday, April 15th. There is also no school on Friday, April 19th or Monday, April 22nd. This is one of our 4 day weekend breaks for the spring semester.

Attention to any parties interested in preparing a bid for the gravel parking lot. We will have a pre-bid meeting on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 12:00 PM. Every now and then, our girls get a little bit helpless and let the wins slide by. 🎶Unfortunately, this eclipse day was one of those days for our Lady Pirates. Both teams fell short to the Southwest Trojans . Varsity 5-8 JV 2-3

Here is yet another example of the great community support our school receives throughout the year! The staff at Stockmens Bank pay money to wear jeans to work. They decided to donate the money raised from these jeans days to help us pay off students' unpaid lunch accounts! What a blessing! Thank you to an incredible group of people!

The Pirates Baseball team played Norwood in the final round of the Hartville Tournament. The boys fought hard and came out with a 14 - 12 victory. Congratulations!

The Crane Pirate Trap Team shot today at Ozarks Shooters in the Spring Break'em Youth Shooting Event. They will know their final places later this evening, but our shooters did well for a windy day! Roland Baker=53 Sawyer Baker=83 Natalie Hash=73 Madyson Pippin=65

Our Jr High Baseball Pirates split tonight against Reeds Spring. The A team won, 2-1, and the B team lost 4-2.

Fundraiser for Crane Archery National Tournament.  We are organizing a Bake Sale to help offset some of the costs to attend the NASP National Archery Tournament in Louisville, KY on May 9th.   When: The planned date for the bake sale is April 27, 2024 at 8:00am until sold out. The Varsity Lady Pirates defeated the Billings Wildcats 12-3. The JV Lady Pirates almost pulled off a win, but fell just short, 1-2.

Our Jr High and High School March Students of the Month are 8th grader Bailey Maples and Senior Calen Faucett! About Bailey, her teachers shared: Bailey greets everyone with a smile on her face. She has been helping in the pre-school classroom and doing the coffee cart and does GREAT! She helps preschoolers with matching their colors and shapes. Bailey is positive in everything she does! About Calen, his teachers shared: Calen is an excellent role model for our younger students. I see him encouraging them and taking the time to listen to them. He is well respected by his peers, and he is an all around nice kid! Plus, he is always willing to help out! Thank you both for being so great!

The Jr. High Pirate Baseball team played Blue Eye this evening. Unfortunately, they came up short in both games. A team lost 0-4 B team lost 6-7

Our Crane High School Gibson Tech students have had an impressive year at Gibson Tech! So much so that we have earned "Sending School of the Year" among all of the schools who send students to Gibson Technical Center. To determine what school is in 1st place, the administration at Gibson look at attendance, GPA, participation in Career Technical Student Organizations, and percentage of students who return 2nd semester. As Mrs. Mullins and Mrs. Mease walked around the Gibson Tech building after hearing the great news, instructor after instructor shared with us how awesome the Crane kids are. Thank you to all of our students who work hard at Gibson Tech and represent Crane so well! Let's do it again next year!

The Crane Pirates Varsity Baseball team lost in the 8th inning to Reeds Spring, 6-8. The JV Pirates lost 1-3.

The Lady Pirates beat the Clever Blue Jays 5-2 in 7 innings. Happy Lego Hands make their return!! The Lady Pirates JV Team fell short, 3-10.
